Crispy Glazed Tofu

This flavourful tofu is great on a sandwich or salad for a quick and tasty protein boost! 

Prep Time: 15 minutes + freezing/thawing of the tofu

Ingredients:

  • Vegetable Oil
  • Tofu
  • Umami Bomb

Preparation:

    1. Freeze your block of tofu in the package overnight
    2. Thaw on the counter for a few hours or overnight in the fridge
    3. Drain and press tofu between clean towels or use a tofu press to extra the extra liquid. This one is our favourite: https://tofubud.com/
    4. Cut the tofu into thin slices (around 1/8 inch)
    5. Cook until slightly crisp and brown
    6. Finish with a brush of Umami Bomb on both sides

 

Add to your favourite sandwich, salad, or ramen and enjoy!
