Quick Udon with Mushrooms and Peas

When you need lunch or dinner in a hurry, this tasty noodle dish delivers big flavour in record time.

  • Udon noodles
  • Vegetable oil (canola, grape seed, avocado)
  • Tamari
  • Sliced mushrooms
  • Frozen peas
  • Umami Bomb


  1. Defrost the frozen peas in the microwave.

  2. Sauté the mushrooms in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat with a little oil. Cook until the mushrooms are at the desired consistency.

  3. Add a tablespoon or two of tamari to the mushrooms and cook for a minute or two until the tamari is absorbed.

  4. Cook the udon according to the instructions on the package, drain, and rinse.

  5. Combine noodles, peas, mushrooms, and a big tablespoon of Umami Bomb in the warm pan.

  6. Portion into your favourite bowl and devour!
