Savoury, Spicy Potato Salad

We've put a twist on traditional potato salad with this Umami Bomb version. It would be a great addition to your next picnic!

Prep Time: 40 minutes 


  • New potatoes
  • Garlic
  • Onion
  • Oil
  • Vegan mayo
  • Salt and pepper
  • Umami Bomb


  1. Preheat the over to 375 degrees.

  2. Prepare your potatoes by giving them a good wash and removing any bad spots.

  3. Cut potatoes into 1-1.5 inch pieces (you can leave the really small ones whole).

  4. Break apart the head of garlic into cloves and peel them.

  5. Chop half an onion into a coarse dice.

  6. Place the potatoes, garlic, and onion in a large bowl and toss with a tablespoon or two of oil to coat.

  7. Place the potato mixture on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper.

  8. Place the pan in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the potatoes are done how you like them. 

  9. Let the potato mixture cool for 10 minutes and then toss generously with vegan mayo and Umami Bomb.


Add more mayo and Umami Bomb to your taste and enjoy!
