Yellow Beans with Umami Bomb

These spicy beans are so addictive you'll be wanting seconds!

Prep Time: 20 minutes 


  • Fresh yellow beans (green beans would also work well)
  • High heat cooking oil (canola, sunflower, avocado, etc.)
  • Umami Bomb


  1. Prepare your beans by washing them and then snapping or cutting off the tough ends.

  2. Preheat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. Add a couple of tablespoons of oil to the skillet.

  4. Add the beans to the skillet and stir frequently. You want the skillet to be hot enough that your beans will have a brown, blistered texture on the outside when they're done.

  5. Test a bean every few minutes and continue cooking until desired softness.

  6. Take the beans off the heat and add a generous couple of tablespoons of Umami Bomb and toss to coat. 

  7. Dig in and enjoy!


You could also top the beans with toasted sesame seeds, hemp hearts, or chopped peanuts for an added crunch!
